Producers Guild nominees announced, Aretha Franklin engaged

The nominations for the Producers Guild of America Awards have been announced. Ten films are in the running, including "The Help," silent film "The Artist," and the summer hit comedy "Bridesmaids." George Clooney's two features this year - "The Ides of March" and "The Descendants" also got nominated. The awards will be handed out January 21.
Meryl Streep is set to receive an honorary Golden Bear award at the Berlin Film Festival in February. She will be presented with The Golden Bear for lifetime achievement at the screening of her latest film, "The Iron Lady," on February 14.

Aretha Franklin is engaged. The 69-year old soul singer will marry her longtime friend William Wilkerson later this year in Miami - most likely June or July, according to a statement from Franklin, which also said, "no I'm not pregnant."
And speaking of engagements, Aerosmith frontman and American Idol judge Steven Tyler confirmed that he is indeed engaged to longtime girlfriend Erin Brady. The couple have been together since 2006 - it will be Tyler's third marriage.
