Foodies beware, hotpot might kill you.

A man almost lost his life after having hotpots six days in a row over the Lunar New Year holidays. The clinically obese man surnamed Wu suffers from "triple H", namely hypertension, hyperlipidemia and hyperglycemia. During the holiday, he had too much fatty food while meeting family and friends. After seven hotpot meals in a week, he had a heart attack.

His heart stopped beating at the hospital. Doctors arranged a surgery immediately, and one good nurse promptly decided to perform CPR on him while he was rushed to the operation theatre. She saved his life!

Doctors warned that myocardial infarction and strokes are caused by "triple H", as they lead to coronary artery syndrome, which can induce blood clots. Patients should avoid high-cholesterol food.
