The aftermath of two deadly explosions in southern Afghanistan which killed at least eight people on Friday (May 17).
Two car bombs exploded in a residential area of Kandahar province, which had been developed by investors including the brother of President Hamid Karzai.
Another 60 people were injured in the attack.
Officials say nine children are among the wounded.
Kandahar is one of Afghanistan's most dangerous areas and is considered the birthplace of the Taliban.
Continuing violence has raised concerns about the country's future as foreign troops withdraw next year.
