Al Qarra - Yet another award for Youssou N’Dour. The Senegalese singer has won the Polar Music Prize, Sweden's highest musical honor. Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho also received the award.
They will each receive will each receive one million kronor, that’s more than USD 150,000. A ceremony will be held in Stockholm on August 27.
