The CIA reportedly introduced a kitty spy in the 1960s.

Anyone around you can be a spy.

Roughly 50 years ago, the CIA took in a furry, non-human field agent as part of something called Operation Acoustic Kitty. A veterinarian inserted a microphone into the female cat’s ear canal. A tiny radio transmitter was also placed at the base of her skull.

And a very thin wire was waved through the cat’s fur and voila! The CIA had its very own innocent-looking spy. CIA authorities hoped she would sit next to foreign leaders and with the help of the radio transmitter and microphone, agents would be able to listen in on conversations.

Unfortunately Acoustic Kitty didn’t make it that far. During the first test, the cat was taken to a park where CIA workers hoped she would sit next to several men sitting on a bench. The cat nixed that idea and decided to walk in the street where she was abruptly hit and killed by a taxi.

Last year, the Ukrainian navy began training dolphins to assist in attacking enemies. Called 'killer dolphins', amazingly, they were trained to utilize knives and guns, which would be attached to their heads while attacking enemies.
