Anyways, I haven't written a description in a fair while, and I've got one for you today. I used to watch WWE a lot. Even back when it was called WWF. Brett Hart was my hero in wrestling. Brett, John Cena, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, I fucking love those dudes. Anyways, between the age of 12 and 16, I used to watch WWE, and believed it was real. I'm sure at one stage or another in your life, you have done the same. And age 13, my step mum told me that I wasn't allowed to watch it anymore, because it wasn't real, but I believed it was real. Yeah, I was banned from watching WWE. Looking back, the most pathetic thing ever. I still used to watch it, I'd manage to sneak in a catch up show here or there, and would always go to my friends house for the main events, back in the day when there were only 4 main events a year (Royal Rumble, WrestleManie, SummerSlam, Survivor Series) So I never really missed out on it much.
Conversation came up the other day, and we were talking about how I was banned from watching this fake show..... this soap opera. In disbelief, the very same day, my step mum was having a full on conversation with someone, about a character in Eastenders, or some show of a similar ilk. And I thought..... do you know what. Fuck. You. How hypocritical is it of someone to stop me watching something because it's fake, then get caught up in the story lines of great british soaps. Makes me quite angry that I was robbed of watching WWE as a young boy.
