Emotional memorial for soccer referee killed by teen

Family and friends gather in Salt Lake City to hold a memorial for 46-year old Ricardo Portillo, who died a week after an attack by a teen soccer player

His daughter remembers the last time she spoke to her father.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) JOHANA PORTILLO, REFEREE'S DAUGHTER, SAYING:

"I saw him. I hold his hand. He pressed my hand really hard and I was like 'Daddy, we are going to be ok'. He saw me and he started crying and he said, 'no' and then they pulled me out of the room because he started going into shock. That's the last time I saw him conscious."

Portillo died Saturday from injuries sustained to the head when he was punched in the face by a 17 year-old player. The teen struck Portillo after the coach penalized him during a soccer game in a Salt Lake City suburb April 27.
