1943 Kai review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of 1943 Kai as included in the Capcom Arcade Cabinet for the PlayStation 3 developed and published by Capcom. Even in 1987, Capcom could foresee how things would eventually work in the gaming industry. A year after releasing 1943 to arcades, they rereleased an enhanced version as 1943 Kai. Sadly, the game would only be released in Japan, but if you've downloaded all five game packs in the Capcom Arcade Cabinet, you can get it for free on the PlayStation 3. 1943 Kai is essentially a "turbo" version of the arcade classic 1943. The plane and weapons have been changed, the graphics have been tweaked and the game is generally more difficult. And for free? Not a bad deal. This video review features video gameplay footage of 1943 Kai as included in the Capcom Arcade Cabinet for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
