Officials ramp up security around Myanmar's embassy in Indonesia on Thursday after Indonesian police prevented a planned attack on the complex.
At a packed press conference police spokesman Rafi Amar detailed how the plot was foiled.
(SOUNDBITE)(Bahasa Indonesia) INDONESIA POLICE SPOKESMAN, BOY RAFI AMAR, SAYING:
"Last night at around 21.30 we arrested the suspects riding a motorbike. Police intercepted them at a junction near Sudirman street."
An interrogation of the two men speedily led members of the elite Detachment 88 police squad to their rented house.
The police spokesman said police had confiscated five pipe bombs and explosive materials which they assumed were for terror attacks.
Rallies were due to be underway, later Friday, outside Myanmar's embassy to protest at the Buddhist-majority country's treatment of its Muslim minority -- where scores have been killed in sectarian violence.
