Deep House. Andy Lee is also responsible for about 40% of the Loopmasters Sample packs that other producers can buy to create their own tracks, so its safe to say he knows his way round the studio and how to create the latest sounds of now and keep his sound current.
For his first solo EP on Seamless Deep, we have a three tracker, which keeps us firmly in the nu school deep house sound of now. The first track What About Us, with pitched down vocals filtered moog saw bass sounds, this gives us a very current deep house sound that is the fashion of 2012. This also comes with a instrumental Dub which removes the vocal but adds in some other synths sounds to use the space where the vocal was.
For the second track Spin Around, again it uses more pitched down and well worked vocal. urging you to Spin Around, whilst keeping the beats bouncy and which work great in tandem with the bassline. To finish it off Andy adds a synth chord line to keep that underground feel.
