The Duchess of Cambridge spends her second wedding anniversary not with her husband, Prince William, but with young patients at a children's hospice.
Two years after she got married in Westminster Abbey, the Duchess of Cambridge on Monday (April 29) celebrated her wedding anniversary to Prince William with a solo visit to a children's hospice in southern England.
The pregnant Duchess met young patients, their families and volunteers for a tea party at Naomi House in Winchester.
The center provides support to children with life-limiting conditions. The Duchess saw how these children made use of the hydro-therapy pool, before meeting older children in a marquee in the garden.
Her visit coincides with Children's Hospice Week.
Over the weekend Kate released a recorded video message in support for children's hospices and appealing for public support.
