Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited the site of a collapsed Dhaka factory on Monday, as hopes of finding more survivors trapped under the rubble began to fade.
Army officers were on hand amid tight security, with rescuers frantically working to clear huge concrete blocks from the site.
Officials said more than 3,000 workers had entered the factory last Wednesday, the day of the collapse, despite warnings it was structurally unsafe.
With hundreds still missing, fears were growing that the number of dead could rise far beyond the latest figure of 381.
Relatives of victims continue to camp out around the site holding photographs of their missing loved-ones.
