Microsoft confirms the next Xbox’s reveal date, more evidence of Call of Duty: Ghosts evolves, and AMD takes over NVIDIA with the most powerful graphics card in existence, THIS IS NICK’S GAMING VIEW!

Hello everyone and welcome to Nick’s Gaming View, you are here with your host, Nick McCandless. After May 21st being thrown around the net as the rumored date for Microsoft’s unveiling of the next Xbox, Microsoft has officially confirmed that Tuesday, May 21st will host Microsoft’s special press event on Microsoft’s very own Xbox campus to reveal a “new generation of games, TV, and entertainment.” Being live streamed via Xbox.com, Xbox LIVE, and Spike TV, Microsoft is set to share their vision for the next chapter of Xbox just 19 days before E3 2013 when Microsoft will showcase their “full lineup of blockbuster games.” Will Microsoft outshine the PlayStation 4 and Sony’s next-generation video game console plans? Much discussion is set to take place immediately following Microsoft’s event so stay tuned, because as soon as I obtain any more information, you, the viewers, will be the first to know.

Likely to make an appearance on next-generation consoles, Activision’s rumored, Call of Duty: Ghosts, rumored by various sources and just leaked by UK retailer, Tesco, is appearing to be more authentic as time progresses. Rumored to take place in the future with current generation weaponry, Activision has yet to officially announce this year’s Call of Duty title, but information points to an announcement during early May. With Infinity Ward’s logo located on the supposed box art, could the Modern Warfare franchise finally be put to rest? If all rumors turn out to be accurate, such questions should be answered within the next couple weeks.

Wrapping up Nick’s Gaming View, just a couple months after NVIDIA unveiled the most powerful graphics card available to consumers, the Titan, at the whopping price of $999, AMD has fought back with the HD 7990 codenamed “Malta” topping the latest card from NVIDIA. Priced the same as NVIDIA’s Titan at $999, the 7990 features dual Tahiti XT (HD 7970) cores creating a total of 8.6 billion transistors. Featuring 6GBs of GDDR5 memory, the 7990 peaks with an impressive 8.2 TFlops mark handling all current top games at 4K resolution with max detail settings. Must say, AMD has once again proved their presence in the PC gaming market, but with rumors of NVIDIA launching a special edition Titan, how long will AMD stay on top with the most powerful graphics card?
