Here is a humorous video presenting American job-creating investment projects in France in 2012.

So, what happened in France last year? Let’s see!
In addition to electing a new President and the 20 million cinema-goers charmed by the movie “The Intouchables”, France in 2012 saw 693 new foreign investments that will create or maintain nearly 26,000 jobs. But let’s not forget the 20,000 foreign companies already doing business here in France, which was Europe’s second largest recipient of inward investment from 2007 to 2011. Yes! 2012 was also a very good year for R&D: 57% of foreign investments in France were in technology-rich sectors. That’s maybe because there’s been a 5% average annual increase since 2007 in R&D center projects…
With more than 1,240 American groups operating in our country, employing more than 440,000 people in over 14,000 establishments, the United States remained France’s leading job-creating foreign investor in 2012. Who’d have thunk it?
