There were two political meetings today (April 22) in the build up to battleground 2014. In Chennai, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav met Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa, and in Mumbai, Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy met Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. While Akhilesh took a swipe at Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Swamy was seen batting for Modi in his lobbying with the Shiv Sena.
