After two months of political deadlock, Italy finally has a new president.
Giorgio Napolitano has been re-elected as president for a second term.
The 87-year-old was voted in by an overwhelming majority.
He has previously said he would not stand as a candidate, but changed his mind in an effort to restore political stability to the country.
