A breakthrough in the FBI investigation of the Boston Marathon bombing, as investigators release photographs and video of two suspects Thursday.
FBI Special Agent Richard DesLauriers is calling for the public's help.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) FBI SPECIAL AGENT RICHARD DESLAURIERS :
"We know that the public will play a critical role in in identifying and locating these individuals. Somebody out there knows these individuals as friends, neighbors co-workers or family members of the suspects."
Both men carried backpacks that were believed to contain bombs. The man identified as suspect number 1 wore a dark baseball cap. Suspect number 2 wore a white cap backwards.
The twin bomb attacks Monday killed three people and wounded 176 near the finish line at the Boston Marathon.
