BJP hits back at JD(U) for targeting Modi

Perhaps for the first time in 17 years the differences between JDU and the BJP are being played out publicly. Reacting to the JDU's statement on Narendra Modi being projected as the BJP's Prime ministerial candidate, BJP spokesperson Nirmala Seetharaman said, "It is unfortunate if they concentrate their energies on our chief minister and dilute the focus of removing the UPA. The BJP will continue its determined efforts in this direction. We reject all unfounded inferences against Sri Narendra Modi."
