U.S. storm leaves one dead, others injured

Trees were felled and houses blown apart when a tornado swept through Mississippi.

One person was killed and five hurt in the U.S. the southern state according to emergency officials.

This tornado was part of a storm system that's been been wreaking havoc across large swathes of the country.

Mississippi's Emergency Management Agency says 4,000 homes lost power.

And the Storm Prediction Center says the southeast of the U.S. should brace itself as more severe storms are possible.
