A woman allegedly assaults her boyfriend for singing "Thrift Shop" song.
A 23-year-old Colorado woman, Samantha Malson was recently arrested after she allegedly pushed around and choked her boyfriend.
The altercation was all over one simple issue – Malson’s boyfriend could not stop singing “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. The couple had been celebrating the male’s 26th birthday, but things turned nasty when he accused Malson of drinking all of the booze in the house.
She left the home, then returned and began playing the “Thrift Shop” song. But long after the tune was over, the boyfriend laid on the couch and continuously repeated the lyrics.
Malson told police she asked him “25 times” to stop before she got physical. She was booked for harassment and domestic violence.
Last year, a Florida man was arrested following a domestic incident that escalated after his bong was broken by his girlfriend. According to 'The Gainesville Sun', the 20-year-old male got extremely angry after his marijuana smoking device was destroyed and at that time, he threatened his partner with a semiautomatic .22 caliber pistol, punched her and choked her until she nearly passed out.
