A Pune-based NGO has alleged that during his tenure as the Water Resources Minister, Pawar had directed a massive amount of water meant for irrigation to industries. While he denies any wrongdoing, the allegations against him raises many questions and if the drought in the state could have been man-made. Even as he is in the eye of the storm and has denied any wrongdoings, the Opposition wants Ajit Pawar gone. But, will he step down?
