A wife and grandson allegedly team up to kill an elderly man.
The death of an elderly man has led to some shocking allegations.
Last month, 72-year-old, William Strickland was shot to death outside of his home in Chicago.
After an investigation, the victim's wife, Janet Strickland, along with his 19-year-old grandson were arrested in connection to the murder. According to prosecutors, the younger male shot his relative 6 times in the back, using his grandfather's own gun.
Mrs. Strickland allegedly orchestrated the whole murder, citing she was “sick” of her husband. After the shooting, the pair bought a new car, tattoos, gym shoes and home furniture with the elderly man’s money.
Both have been charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery.
Last year, a 21-year-old man from Utah, Zachary Weston was accused of aggravated murder for stabbing his 84-year-old grandmother, Joyce Dexter 111 times. Police responded to a domestic disturbance report and arrived at Dexter's home.
Officers reportedly found Weston standing over his grandmother, grasping a blood-covered knife. Weston reportedly had a history of mental illness and showed signs of increasingly violent behavior.
