Jennifer Lopez is a superstar not only in the US but around the world.
The 43-year-old singer was slated to put on a show at the opening of India's Premier League, but her performance has been cancelled.
Lopez reportedly demanded dozens of hotel rooms for her staff and entourage along with a private plane. Since reports of her absence from the event surfaced, Lopez has been criticized for her so called “diva demands”.
An authority with an India-based entertainment company sheds light on the situation stating “It is true Jennifer cancelled the gig at the last moment because she didn't like the deal.”
Meanwhile, the event organizers recruited Pitbull to perform for the event which attracts about millions of tv viewers.
Earlier this year, Beyonce was under scrutiny for her Super bowl demands. The singer wanted event organizers to have a cot shipped from her home in New York to New Orleans for her daughter, Blue Ivy.
She also reportedly requested that the child’s nursery contain rose scented candles. A source associated with the event stated “She's by far one of the most difficult celebrities we've ever dealt with. The list is as long as my arm.”
