Meat Loaf to work with 'Bat out of Hell' songwriter Jim Steinman again

Bat Out of Hell remains one of the biggest selling albums of all time and it was the first studio collaboration between Meat Loaf and songwriter-producer Jim Steinman.

The pair made the second Bat album together in 1993 and have since had a chequered history involving legal and financial battles.

But the singer says they're friends again and he plans to record a Steinman-penned song, Braver than We Are, on his next album.

(Reporter: Are you going to record or work with Jim Steinman again?)

"Well. without giving away certain things, I can't really answer that question but in a round about way, yes we are. If we record Braver Than We Are, he will be very much involved with it."

Meat Loaf's upcoming 'Last at Bat' tour will see him perform all seven songs from 'Bat Out Of Hell' in order.

And the very last song of the show will be emotional.
