North Korea has ordered its rocket batteries to be on standby to attack US bases in South Korea and the Pacific.
According to state media North Korean leader Kim Jong-un chaired an emergency meeting of top generals and "judged the time has come to settle accounts with the US imperialists in view of the prevailing situation."
