Visit www.xiomaro.com to download a free eBook with images from the fine art photographic collection, “Theodore Roosevelt - How I Love Sagamore Hill" (limited to the first 200 downloads). The photographs artistically document the home of President Theodore Roosevelt in a historically rare condition: Sagamore Hill, now part of the National Park Service, was virtually emptied of its contents as part of a three year, $6.2 million structural rehabilitation. A selection of photographs are on exhibit at Oyster Bay Historical Society from March 8 to June 2, 2013. The photographs were created by New York artist Xiomaro, who is also the curator of the exhibit. In this video, the collection is described (in order of appearance) by Philip Blocklyn, Executive Director, Oyster Bay Historical Society; Tom Ross, Superintendent, Sagamore Hill National Historic Site; Elizabeth Roosevelt, Manager, The Windfall Shop, Oyster Bay Historical Society; and Nicole Menchise, Librarian / Archivist, Oyster Bay Historical Society.
