After Italy falls in line, Italian marines on their way back to India. Italian media reports say the marines left for India around midnight accompanied by the Italian deputy foreign minister Staffan De Mistura, who said the Indian government has assured there will be no death penalty for Italian marines. Attorney general Vahanwati in fact confirmed that the external affairs ministry after prolonged discussion has given an assurance to the Italian government that the marines would not be arrested when they are back in India.
