Nervous Brickdown review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Nervous Brickdown for Nintendo DS developed by Arkedo Studio and published by Eidos Interactive. Nervous Brickdown, from French developer Arkedo Studio (known for a series of well-received indie titles on the XBLA indie channel), is a series of variations on one of the most tried and true themes in video gaming: You bounce a ball at a number of targets above, using a paddle. It's a concept that's been working since 1976, but never like this: a diverse array of strange spinoffs, including a speed-centric variant, a submarine-based version where you have to catch falling dudes, and even a version where you have to draw your own paddle before starting. This video review features video gameplay footage of Nervous Brickdown for Nintendo DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
