Seven komodo dragons are born in Indonesia.

When was the last time you heard of a dragon being born?

Seven tiny komodo dragons have indeed been born in Indonesia. The breed is actually a very rare type of lizard and is an endangered species. The komodo dragons are currently residing at a zoo in East Java Province.

The bizarre creatures are reportedly playing together, climbing over each other and feeding from a shared bowl, while in an enclosure.

Known as the heaviest lizards on Earth, komodo dragons can reach up to 10 feet in length and weigh roughly 300 pounds when fully grown. Possessing flat, long heads and rounded snouts they are known to eat anything including deer, pigs, water buffalo and even humans. The dragon saliva is home to an abundance of bacteria.

If a creature comes in contact with a komodo dragon’s mouth, they usually die within 24 hours due to blood poisoning.
