The bodies of a British man and his son have been recovered in the Alps near Chamonix in France.
Police said the 48-year-old and the boy, who was 12, had been hiking in the Mont Blanc range, Europe's highest mountains.
The man, from Buckingham, raised the alarm after his son had fallen.
A helicopter rescue team found the bodies.
