A court orders a man to pay his own mother for swearing.

Swearing at your own parents is probably not the wisest or nicest gesture.

One man paid, in the literal sense for cursing at his beloved mom.

The district court in Papua, New Guinea recently heard that the male named, Clarence Lote swore at his own mother, Esther, after she told him to stop using nasty language towards his spouse. Upon reprimanding her son, she got a long string of cuss remarks as a response.

Lote then told Esther that it was her fault for bringing him into the world. The mother was so offended that she contacted police, who later arrested and charged him with the offence of swearing.

The case went to court, where Lote was ordered to pay a hefty $230 to Esther as a form of compensation.

Last year, cursing led to another arrest. A 26-year-old man, John Caruso was arrested for domestic battery after allegedly squirting dish soap into his girlfriend, Stephanie Madewell's mouth to stop her from cursing.
According to reports, the couple had gotten into a verbal argument. Caruso told Madewell to quiet down and several minutes later, he snuck up behind her, stuck the bottle into her mouth and squeezed.
