BDry is our way of keeping your feet dry and comfortable through misty mornings, muggy afternoons, downpours, and snowfield crossings. The lining in all of our BDry styles has a membrane component that blocks water from the outside, and allows sweat to escape from the inside. Sounds like hocus-pocus? Nope, just science. When your feet sweat inside the boot, that sweat turns into water vapor. The membrane has microscopic holes that are big enough to let that water vapor out, but small enough to keep liquid water from coming in. Of course, we've tested BDry in the lab, but we couldn't resist a little field stomping in the 20-million-acre testing facility adjacent to our Bozeman, Montana, office (that would be the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem).
