STORY: A police station in the Egyptian city of Port Said was set on fire on Saturday.
Locals said protesters torched the police station after a police vehicle ran over demonstrators in a peaceful march.
According to witnesses, five protesters were injured when a police car ran over people in the march.
Security sources say protesters then hurled stones at the vehicle as it was on its way to Port Said's court house. Six officers were injured when protesters attempted to free the detainees held inside the car.
It was also reported that protesters blocked fire engines from reaching the police station.
Clashes are commonplace in Egypt, with people demanding President Mursi reform the interior ministry's police force. The president is accused of not taking police reform, a key demand of the uprising that toppled Hosni Mubarak, seriously.
