Visit our website for a free downloadable list of equipment. Hey its Mason here, you know, I remember as a kid, my folks taking us out camping was some of the best vacations we had as a family, and I love taking my boys out to do the same. Some of our best times have been spent in the local campgrounds of east Texas. Over the years, I have gained some pretty good insider tips that have helped lots of people, and today, I want to share one with you.

Did you know that all RV parks and campgrounds have their utilities in different places on the campsite, and all RV's are built differently as well. While a 5 foot sewer hose may work in one park, you may need 20 foot in another. What if you blow a fuse to the water heater and your spouse is not able to take a hot shower, are you prepared to deal with those consequences. If you are prepared and have an extra set of fuses on hand, you are back up and running in no time. What if you pull into a campground that does not have the exact electrical connection you need, or the water spicket is 30 feet away and you only have 25 feet of water hose. It has never hurt to have more equipment needed then what is necessary. But it does hurt if you need it and don't have it. That is why I have developed a checklist of important items that you are likely to need when heading out for your next campout. If you go to http://www.campingineasttexas.com you can request a copy of the “Disaster or Delight- Must have items” checklist. Its free and I hope it helps.
