STORY: On a star-studded Oscars red carpet, Academy Awards nominees made their way down the press line. Sally Field, who is nominated for best supporting actress, said she was just enjoying the night and proud of participating in the nominated film, "Lincoln."

"I think we're all very thrilled and honored to be here and I think beyond that, I think we all feel very proud to be a part of this film that I think is Steven Spielberg's masterpiece," said Field.

Ang Lee, who picked up a handful of nominations for "Life of Pi" and an early Oscar for visual effects, said the film was a lot of work.

"That time, two years ago, it was clumsy but the payoff is really handsome. I think we have a very unusual movie, a different perspective on a theatrical experience. I'm very happy to take that on," said Lee.
