A brewery unveils a new chocolate-flavored whiskey.

Do whiskey and chocolate go together?

Kings County Distillery in Brooklyn has unveiled a chocolate-flavored whiskey. Available to purchase in Manhattan at the Park Avenue Liquor Shop, the bottles come in simplistic-looking flasks with typewriter-written labels, adding an old-fashioned touch to the unique drink.

The whiskey maker uses leftover husks from the Mast Brothers Chocolate factory in the distilling process. Referred to as “imminently drinkable”, the beverage is only out for a limited time.

The taste is said to be richly bitter while the scent is reminiscent of simple, raw chocolate.

Earlier this year, an Oregon based brewery, Rogue Ales teamed up with VooDoo Doughnut to create a new beer dubbed 'Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Banana Ale'. It serves as a tribute to Elvis, combining his favorite snacks together in a unique form.

The brewery states " This unique artisan creation contains a baker's dozen ingredients including chocolate, banana and peanut butter to match Voodoo's Memphis Mafia doughnut- a nod to Elvis' entourage."
