A robbery victim fights off 4 attackers without dropping his beloved dinner.

How far would you go to save your favorite fast food? I bet not as much as 37-year-old John Wood who had been walking down an alleyway with fish and chips in his hands, when he was attacked by four men looking to rob him.

The incident happened in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. The suspects demanded his wallet and cell phone, but Wood, who is trained in Japanese art of aikido wasn’t going down without a fight.

Wood was able to kick two of the men in the knees while fighting the third off with his one free hand – remember the other hand was holding his dinner. The fourth male stabbed him in the chest with a screwdriver but Mr. Wood wrestled that away too.

Amazingly, he successfully took on four guys without once dropping his fish and chips. After driving home to eat his supper, the victim went to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

It’s no wonder Wood kept a tight hold on his Fish and chips, as they are very much loved in the UK. Declared the national dish of Britain, fish and chip shops began popping up in the mid 1800s and since then the beloved meal is still a hot commodity .
