Peparations are underway for Reeva Steenkamp's funeral in Port Elizabeth, the former model's hometown. Family friends delivered flowers to the crematorium where Steenkamp's body was taken.
SOUNDBITE: Wendy Michell, family friend of slain model Reeva Steenkamp saying:
"We are absolutely mortified at the tragedy that has happened and it has affected everybody in Port Elizabeth. It is the topic of conversation, right throughout the city."
A delgation from her high school, St Dominic's Priory, where she (third from the left) was on the hockey team, is also expected to pay their respects. Steenkamp's funeral on Tuesday will be closed to media and the public. It's the same day her boyfriend, Oscar Priortius --- the paralympic champion know as the "Blade Runner" will appear in a Pretoria court for his bail hearing.
Defense attorney Eddie Classen says Pistorious' legal team faces an uphill battle.
SOUNDBITE: Defense attorney Eddie Classen saying:
"Concern has been expressed as to his psychological state, and the possibilities that he may attempt to commit suicide. That is a consideration that the court will no doubt take into consideration."
Pistorius is being charged with premeditated murder in the shooting death of his girlfriend last week. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
