Hollywood Boulevard comes to a virtual standstill as James Franco makes a suitably spellbinding entrance at the LA premiere for 'Oz the Great and Powerful'
Franco plays a small-time Kansas magician, whisked away to the magical Land of Oz.
There he's drawn in to a world of witches, munchkins and flying monkeys on his path to becoming the great and powerful Wizard of Oz.
Back in LA, Franco was joined at the premiere by co-stars Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz - who play three witches of Oz.
And instead of a red carpet, stars - of course - walked the yellow brick road.
SOUNDBITE: Rachel Weisz, saying:
"How did I feel? Bad, evil, cruel, mean, manipulative, cunning, Machiavellian, you name it, all the bad things."
Director Sam Rami's eye-popping vision of the merry old land of Oz hits movie theatres on March 8.
