At the initiative of its President, Harold t’Kint de Roodenbeke,and his Fair Manager, Béatrix Bourdon, the BRAFA Antiques and Fine Arts Fair asked Chris Christoffels and José Roland, the Belgian multimedia duo, to co-author an ART MOVIE & MUSIC
for its 58th edition at Tour & Taxis from January 19 to 27, 2013.
In the spirit of their work and the most splendid of Belgium’s fine arts and antiques fair, the artists captured the sometimes mimetic relationship between visitors and works.
The film’s soundtrack conveys something of the soul of the pieces on display.
MASTERWORKS pays also homage to the fair’s guest of honour, the Royal La Monnaie Theatre.
