Afghanistan's first orchestra since the fall of the Taliban has embarked on a three-city tour of the United States' most prestigious concert halls.
Students from the National Institute of Music began their tour of the US east coast at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, DC, where they were welcomed by John Kerry, newly-appointed secretary of state.
