STORY: Naomi Campbell has teamed up with fellow supermodels Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha to share their fashion knowledge with 12 wannabe models for the new television show "The Face."

The trio will each coach four models as they compete against each other hoping to earn one of their respective models a year-long contract with ULTA Beauty. On the red carpet Campbell said the contest mimics real life.

"There's competitiveness with the girls and there is competitiveness with the coaches. And it would be, I would be lying if I said there wasn't. I mean, that's the way of the world, it's like that anyway. There are so many models out there vying for the job so it's good for them to know that that's the real authentic feeling of - what you see is what's authentic in the real world of modeling," Campbell told Reuters.

This is the first time Rocha, Kurkova or Campbell have signed on full-time for reality television. For Campbell, who is also the show's executive producer, the opportunity to train young models was appealing.

"I think that the thing that attracted me was the mentoring aspect and getting to share my experiences with young hopefuls who want to be in the business," she said.

"The Face" will air on U.S. cable network Oxygen on February 12th.
