New laws to protect animals in Mexico

Tougher penalties for those who abuse animals have come into force in Mexico. The issue hit the headlines last month when feral dogs were blamed for the deaths of four people. In the past people who abused animals were only fined, but the new law says anyone convicted of intentionally abusing animals can face up to two years in prison. Al Jazeera's Adam Raney reports from Mexico City.
