A granny is pulled over 4 times in 3 hours.
Some people never learn. One woman, 49-year-old, Lorretta Lacy was stopped by police for speeding four times over the course of three hours.
Lacy had been venturing through Minnesota to get to her granddaughter’s middle school dance in Wisconsin. She was driving a 1999 Chrysler sedan at a speed of 112 miles per hour when she passed a state trooper.
She received a ticket for no proof of insurance, speeding and possession of marijuana. 20 miles later, Lacy was stopped again, going 99 miles per hour.
She was pulled over a third time about 60 minutes later going 88 miles per hour. On the final stop, an officer caught her driving 88 miles per hour in a 70 mile per hour zone.
She was ticketed each time and after all of that, the granny was unable to make it on time for the dance.
Last year, a 53-year-old woman was arrested for reckless driving after she was pulled over three separate times on the same highway in one hour’s time. She had been initially clocked at 103 miles per hour.
20 minutes later, she was caught going even faster. 38 minutes after that stop, she was arrested for traveling 76 miles per hour in a 55 zone.
