FAQ:
1. I dont have either of these apps?
Your sound card will have come with some software allowing you to alter the equalizer. Almost every sound manager has a loudness equalizer as well so check your manual.
2. This distorts positional sounds?
It doesnt distort it, it just makes certain sounds louder. It takes time to learn where sounds are coming from whilst using this. Alternatively leave sound manager open on you desktop and Alt+Tab out of the game to turn loudness equalization on when you need to.
3. This doesnt work in some games, you've tricked me Frankie?
It doesnt work in all games because some games e.g. BFBC2 seem to merge footstep sounds with other ambient sounds so when you make them louder the ambient sound also gets louder and drowns them out. Hopefully this wont be in BF3.
4. I want to whine because this is like cheating or something?!
Well dont, because I posted another video to test what the majority think and the vast majority wanted a tutorial. Playing on PC is no fair. If you want fair play, get a console, but then it wont be fair anyway because of modded controllers etc, so I guess people will have to live with other finding things out to enhance their game.
