Police used water cannons against steel workers protesting outside the government office in Namur, Belgium. Workers are angry over plans to shut down a steel mill in nearby Liege, which means the loss of 1,300 jobs. The decision by the world's biggest steel maker, Arcelor Mittal, has provoked outrage, but the company blames a drop in demand for steel across Europe. Al Jazeera's Simon McGregor-Wood reports from Namur.
