Valentino has been described as the standout show at the Spring/Summer Paris Couture Week with its intricate designs and embroidery.

Former accessory designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli took over the couture line four years ago taking the Valentino brand to a whole different level.
Over at Armani Prive, there was a massive crack for the catwalk. The designs, shown off by zigzaging models in fez hats, were according to the designer a clash of cultural influences.
Armani's approach to design is to strike the right balance between understated and luxurious, and Giorgio Armani certainly acheived this with his latest collection.
