ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: The newly-sworn in President Barack Obama joined members of Congress, Supreme Court justices and members of cabinet at a traditional luncheon inside Statuary Hall at the U.S. Capitol on Monday (January 21).
After greeting guests at the luncheon Obama took his seat at a banquet table with the First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Dr Jill Biden and settled down for a three-course calorie-busting meal that included lobster, bison and apple pie.
Obama told the leaders that one of the ironies of serving as President is that the longer you serve the more "humble" you become.
Earlier in the day, Obama was sworn in at a public event - his second swearing-in ceremony in less than 24 hours- that was attended by hundreds of thousands of people gathered at the National Mall and the U.S. Capitol.
