A 9-year-old becomes a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist.

Recently, a 9-year-old boy from the US was declared the world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist.

The boy’s father states “As a child, he used to play with computers instead of toys. He started writing small programmes when he was only six. I started motivating him to take up Microsoft certification, which would add value to his current skills.”

The 4th grader claims that he aspires to be a scientist one day. He has a love for mathematics and a devotion to solving complex equations. Those passions along with his knowledge of computers greatly assisted in his pursuit.

He reportedly spent eight hours a day studying computer programming during the holidays. The record was previously held by another boy in Dubai who earned the certification when he was only 12.

Last year, a young woman was declared the world’s youngest mayor. The 15-year-old spent two months of her summer to serve as mayor in the town of Allar in Jerusalem.

During her time as a public official, she inaugurated a new fire department and established a public park.
