U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon meets with Pakistan's Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar.
Hina Rabbani Khar was in New York to lead a meeting on terrorism at the Security Council attended by U.N. chief Ban Ki-moon. Pakistan holds the rotating presidency of the 15-member Council for the month of January.
The two posed for a formal photo and then Khar signed the U.N. guest book according to the international organization's protocol.
While in New York, Khar is also expected to speak at several foreign policy organizations.
